Q: Where is the hotel located?
A: Holiday Inn Northampton is located on Bedford Road A428 Northampton NN4 7YF, just off A45 towards Bedford. (You can also use the Map button on top of the website)
Nearest train station is the one in Northampton about 10 minutes away by car.
Nearest Airport is Luton Airport is 40 miles or 50 minutes away, Gatwick airport is 104 miles away or 1 hour 40 minutes and Stanstead airport is 82 miles away or 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Q: How much is from the hotel to town centre or the train station?
A: To town centre it is a 2 miles trip, 10 minutes by car or about £8. To the train station is about 2.6 miles, 15 minutes trip and about £10-15.
Q: What is the check in and out time?
A: Check in is after 2 pm while check out is before 12 pm.
Q: Can I request an early check in or a late check out?
A: Depending on hotel availability we can allow up to 2 hours earlier check in or 2 hours late check out, please call the hotel to check before traveling
Q: What type of rooms do you have?
A: We have double rooms with one large bed, twin rooms with 2 large beds suitable for families up to 4 guests, executive rooms that are larger and have a mini fridge in the room and suites that are even bigger and also include a mini fridge. Please note the mini fridge is stocked only on request.
Q: Can I have a cot or an extra bed in the room?
A: We can provide a cot for you on availability. We can NOT provide an extra bed, but we do have twin rooms with 2 double beds which are suitable for up to 4 guests, please call the hotel directly if you require a cot.
Q: Can I prepay for the room? What are the terms and conditions of my booking?
A: Hotels have 2 types of rates, advanced purchase which are cheaper but require prepayment and if you want to amend or cancel the reservation you will lose the full deposit or best flexible that you can amend or cancel before 4 pm the day before. For more information please read the terms and conditions of your reservation before you complete it to check what type of booking you have and other details.
Q: I need to amend or cancel my booking.
A: If the rate you booked is booked with the hotel direct and if it is on a flexible rate we can amend the reservation. If you have booked an advanced purchase rate you will lose the full amount for the reservation. If you booked via a third party like Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Trivago or a travel agent you will have to contact them in order to change your reservation.

A: We have a restaurant on site, please visit http://www.hi-northampton.co.uk/restaurant/ for our menus. The restaurant is open from 6 pm to 10 pm. We have an A La Carte menu, specials, lounge, room service & children menus, dinner included menu. Also, while there you can check our wine list. We have a vegetarian and gluten free options also. Please note the restaurant can be closed for special events, please check with the hotel at 01604 622 777.
Q: What are the timings for the restaurant?
A: Breakfast during the week is from 6:30 am to 9:30 am and during weekend & bank holiday from 7 am to 11 am. Lounge area is available after breakfast until 11 pm. Dinner is from 6 pm to 10 pm. Please note the restaurant can be closed for special events, please check with the hotel at 01604 622 777.
Q: What about children?
A: Children under 12 years old can stay free of charge as long as they share a room with an adult aged 12 or more. Children under 13 can also eat for free in our restaurant as long as at least 1 adult is having a main course.

Q: Can you book a taxi for me?
A: While the hotel is not responsible for taxis, we are able to book them in advance for you. If you are at the hotel and require a taxi please let reception know. It usually takes 10 minutes for the taxi to arrive but it depends on how busy the road and the companies are.

A: No, the hotel only allows guide dogs, we apologise for any inconvenience.
